Headland Hand

"Headland Hand" was installed at an event at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, CA. It was the first art element the viewer encountered when entering the Center, and as such, it functioned as a greeting or blessing. Yet, it's body-sized scale conveyed a slightly menacing overtone.
